As part of the U.S. Cards Acquisition Strategy and Planning team, will manage various initiatives across the Acquisition organization, primarily focusing on Competitive Analysis. This role will also include P&L forecasting, new account forecasting, budget management and long range planning.
These efforts require the ability to work across many teams in a cross-channel lens, often balancing many high priority requests while also working with several external vendors to obtain data and leverage this data for business intelligence needs. Beyond U.S. Cards Marketing, this role has direct partnership with Decision Management, Risk Management, Product Management, 360 Marketing, and Finance in order to ensure efficient operations.
In addition, this role will require the ability to analyze data and create senior management summaries leveraging Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint as part of a monthly/quarterly meeting cadence. Leadership, accountability, and being proactive/a self-starter are key traits that will allow someone to succeed in this role.
Manage Competitive Analysis work-stream, which provides Competitive business intelligence across all of U.S. Cards Marketing, including presenting to senior leadership on a regular meeting cadence, distributing monthly dashboards, collaborating with several external vendors, and proactively identifying areas of values across the organization
Partner in cross-channel role to manage Acquisition marketing budget and new account forecasting process
Partner with Decision Management and Finance for P&L tracking/forecasting and key long range planning, including CCAR and Plan
Support collaboration with business partners to grow efficiencies across Acquisition marketing channels and ensure appropriate balance of investment across channels/products
Business and Technical Requirements
5+ years business experience, particularly in business intelligence and data analysis
Strong analytical skills and experience with fundamental analytic tactics leveraging Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint
Ability and desire to lead cross-function initiatives and present key findings to senior management on a recurring basis
Familiarity with Credit Card industry with knowledge of P&L a plus
