As the Lab Enterprise Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing state-of-the-art, cross-company programs focused on laboratory services and solutions. You will manage programs necessary to delight customers with a world class experience with Agilent hardware and software solutions. You will work with multiple stakeholders to refresh and redesign how Agilent thinks about and manages laboratories and products. You will be managing leading edge programs related to IoT solutions that integrate software, consumables, and instruments into strategic customer solutions.

In this roll you will lead cross-functional program teams of product, program and customer success managers; engineers; and other internal partners to build, and help commercialize, tools and experiences to improve the scientific and economic outcomes for customers. You will help transform global voice of customer needs into requirements and strategies with clear business impact, communicate and gain support for the programs and own driving the execution of the program strategy.

You will own:

  • Program roadmaps and portfolio management

  • Driving alignment within the Agilent team to ensure value propositions are recognized and implemented

  • Gaining and maintaining buy-in from internal partners

  • Measuring and reporting project, and overall program, performance through Key Performance Indicators

  • Anticipating and mitigating program bottlenecks

  • Making the appropriate tradeoffs to meet program and project goals

  • Determining and/or recommending processes, tools, and technology required to support your programs

  • Taking acceptable risks to maximize the benefit for our customers and business

You will manage the portfolio of projects through introduction and sustaining activities. This will be organizationally complex across multiple functions and businesses. It will also entail the development of comprehensive and integrated plans. The ideal candidate possesses an understanding of laboratory enterprise efforts and had demonstrated project and program management, leadership, continuous improvement and cross functional communication skills.



  • Engineer, chemist or equivalent degree or experience

  • Familiar with, and have understanding of, Agilent's product portfolios (hardware and software)

  • Fluent written and verbal professional communication skills in English

  • 5 or more years of experience in project and program management

  • Experience in dealing with customer-facing programs

  • Ability to gather, analyze, organize, and communicate complex information from several sources

Additional duties:

  • Develop, maintain, and drive program plans and metrics focused on customer success value drivers

  • Conduct reviews of progress with team members

  • Report on progress and risks to management and stakeholders

  • Communication with senior management at program checkpoints

  • Resolve issues with the program to ensure timely completion while meeting customer expectations

  • Make recommendations on scope, resources, and budget as required

  • Drive consistency in project deliverables across the contributing teams

  • Make recommendations for resolution of inconsistencies

For this role, it's also important that you manage projects, resources, and tasks to schedule and completion.
