Title: Visiting Research Scientist
Location: Delaware-WILMINGTON
DuPont BioChemical Science & Engineering group (BCS&E) has apost-doctoralfellowshipavailable to work on interdisciplinary projects. The
successful candidate will employ state of the art techniques from
molecular and cell biology, biophysics and nanoscience for the
elucidation of physicochemical phenomena key to the stabilization,
manufacture and bioactivity of enzymes, peptides and proteins. In
addition, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of how changes in the
molecular sequence, formulation, or mode of application may affect
kinetic and thermodynamic properties. The successful candidate for this
job will become a key member of the team by providing a combination of
technical excellence and technical leadership within BCS&E and its
strategic partners.

Job Responsibilities
• Design and perform experiments to develop/improve products and
processes;
• Effectively collaborate with other researchers;
• Provide coaching on technical issues to both peers and
associate investigators;• Develop intellectual property for key innovations;.
• Ph.D. in Biophysics, Biochemistry or Cell Biology
• Demonstrated ability to work in team environment;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
