systems analysis functions. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related
discipline, typically six or more years of solid, diverse work experience in
IT with a minimum of four years experience application program development, or
the equivalent in education and work experience.Role Responsibilities:- Under
the general direction, devise or modify programs to solve complex problems
considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and
form of desired results.- Analyze business user needs and provide optimal
technical solutions.- Perform root cause analysis for issues and provide
effective timely technology resolution.- Participate in the analysis, design,
development, unit testing and documentation for small to medium system
enhancements and or large scale strategic development initiatives as
needed.- Effectively prioritize work while considering business need and
urgency.- Effectively manage multiple tasks.- Follow SDLC standards, source
code management and release management procedures.Qualifications:- B.S. in
Computer Science / IST / Management Information Systems or equivalent work
experience, typically six or more years of solid, diverse work experience in
IT.- Minimum 3 years of application development experience using Java/J2EE
(EJBs, Servlets, JSP) and JavaScript. Experience with Websphere desired but
not required.- Any experience with J2EE framework and webservices a plus.- Any
experience with SQL Server / T-SQL a plus.- Any experience with UNIX a huge
plus.- Any experience with SOA, .NET, IIS a plus.- Demonstrated knowledge of
systems SDLC cycle required.- Strong systems analysis and design experience
required.- Ability to present analysis and findings in business context.
Experience working with a cross-functional team to implement a key strategic
project / enhancements.- Depending upon the need, ability to act in different
